How to Make Your Business Green

  1. Recycle Paper- Provide recycling baskets for your employees to use at there desks.  As a business you can also contact Quincy Recycle to acquire a tote bin for free.  Quincy Recycle will schedule a pick-up time with you to pick up the paper free of charge.

  2. Print Double Sided- When ever you can print your documents double-sided to not waste paper.  Also try to print less.

  3. Use Energy Efficient Light Bulbs-  Incandescent bulbs waste 90% of their energy making heat, while CFL's use 75% less energy to produce the same amount of light.  One CFL can last as long as 10-12 incandescent bulbs (up to 10 Years) and CFL's burn at lower temperatures.
